Long Beach Restaurant is located in Bowleys Quarters of Middle River, Maryland! We are surrounded by marinas and water! The menu is a wide selection including appetizers, salads, wraps and sandwiches, burgers, and dinner entrees. We are looking to hire individuals to join our team to fill the roles of server and bartender. The responsibilities of these positions include, but are not limited to: food service, completing and filling guests orders properly and in a timely manner and having reasonable availability to cover for either morning and or evening shifts.

Duties:
- Performs 1) start of shift, 2) end of shift, 3) clean up, 4) prep and 5) weekly duties as assigned by manager.
- Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
- Takes guests orders; suggestively sells food and beverage items.
- Advises manager of any complaints as soon as they occur.
-Preferred Experience:
- Wine and beer knowledge
- Experience in food service and/or bartending

 

Line Cook Wanted! 

Part-time position with about 20-30 hours/week with the possibility of moving to full time.
We are looking for someone that has verifiable experience.
The job will start at 10/hr and work its way to full time provided that you can accomplish that job.
Full time job can be up to 40 hours a week.
Potential increase in pay with performance, experience, reliability, etc.

Requirements:
Must be able to work under pressure. (During rush hour)

Ensure optimal level of sanitation and safety standards in work area at all times.

Monitor and maintain clean working area and cooking surfaces.

Maintain and operate all large volume cooking equipments such as grills and deep fryers.

Manage all food order slips and administer all verbal instructions and perform all cooking as per instructions.

Food preparation as instructed by head chef.

Monitor and ensure exact measurement of all ingredients for all food items.

Salary: $10 /hour

Preferred Experience:
- Food and food safety knowledge
- Experience in food service as a line cook
